A focus on the main materials used in the kitchen world, market trends, ergonomics, and product certifications were the main topics addressed during the Lube Group “Modular Kitchens” masterclass, which was held on April 4th in Pescara at the Museum of the People of Abruzzo and was attended by 140 professionals.
Lube Store of Pescara, together with the Order and Foundation of Architects of Chieti and Pescara, organized for the first time in Abruzzo a training day on the topic of modular kitchens, for a discussion on current issues related to the conscious design of kitchen furniture.
The head and project manager of the R&D center of the Lube Group, Engineer Alessio Sileoni, together with his collaborators Gili and Marzola, addressed the various aspects related to modular kitchens, from the materials used for the doors, ranging from veneer to PET, including lacquered and melamine finishes, with particular attention to the latest market trends, the main types of worktops, from laminate to the success of porcelain stoneware and composite materials.
During the full immersion, there was a discussion about how modern kitchens are evolving into multifunctional architectural elements, harmoniously integrating with the living area and other spaces in the home.
