CAM compliance
CAM compliance: a concrete step toward the sustainability of furniture products
The Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security has defined the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM), a set of requirements aimed at promoting a more sustainable model of production and consumption. These criteria are a key tool of Green Public Procurement (GPP), or “Green Procurement,” a European initiative that guides the public administration toward responsible purchasing. The goal is to consider the entire life cycle of products, reducing environmental impact and supporting the circular economy.
In the furniture sector, the CAM (Ministerial Decree of June 23, 2022, No. 254) establish mandatory criteria for supplies intended for public entities. But their impact goes further: they serve as a technical benchmark increasingly adopted in sustainable private design as well, in line with the goals of the NRRP, the European Green Deal, and the ecological transition.
LUBE INDUSTRIES confirms its deep commitment to creating kitchens in line with the latest environmental sustainability standards. We rigorously apply the CAM criteria at every stage, from eco-design to the selection of certified and recycled materials. This virtuous path enables us to guarantee increasingly sustainable kitchens, actively contributing to a better future for everyone.
